Walter Mittelholzer flew the thee engine Fokker airplane ordered by the King of Kings, the Lion of Judah, His Majesty, Hailé Selassié, to Ethiopia from Switzerland. He left Switzerland on February 2, 1934 and landed in Addis Ababa on February 23, 2914. The flight consisted of 12 legs with a total logged flight time of 46.28 hours.
