Chocolate Cards

These cards were placed in boxes of chocolates by various manufacturers in order to create demand for their product - either by a return coupon (as shown on the first card) or as a collectible. These cards illustrate romanticized mail delivery that was specific to the country being depicted on the card. Cards from dozens of countries were issued. They may be frequently found at paper and post card shows and on eBay.
